EntriesJune 26 Grand Canyon
We got to the Grand Canyon at around 5. And got really angry with each other while we put our really simple tent out. Jessica and I are the worst team mates EVER! So after that we decided food was in order because we didn’t have lunch although it was too early the restaurant was packed and we barely got a table. The food was too rich for myself but it was very good. We then went to a very touristy spot which was beautiful even though mom and I shared the feeling of falling over. But the zoom came in useful there. We then saw some cute little squirrels*. We went back and did some laundry and mom showered. An 8min shower for 2dollars. I thought that was terrible but mom wanted to feel clean. Then we missed the apparently beautiful sunset so we decided that we’ll get up at half past 4 so we went back to camp and slept. That morning we got up at half4. Jessica and I didn’t bother with other clothes we just undid the bottom of our sleeping bags and walked like creepy worms. We got a LOT of skwiph looks. It took along time for the sun to rise and it wasn’t too spectacular but moms camera has this setting that made it look AMAZING! We went back to the cam site around half5. We couldn’t get back to sleep so we just got dressed and struck our tents which caused another bunch of arguments and grumpy people. We got some breakfast and drove.
