I went back to school only to find my ‘personal space’ invaded! Not cool 😐

But not only invaded but in my seat. All of this happened because of a girl’s stupidity (that was supposed to be stubbornness but stupidity works just as well). A girl wanted to be by her friend but she also wanted to be in a single desk. So with one person in between them (Tamlin my best friend) which is a good length to ‘fool’ a teacher. Another girl wanted to be by herself and had ‘booked’ the seat. So she was really making a cow of it all. I was innocent and in my spot (this happened before I left). Tamlin and I are smart enough to realise that we shouldn’t be next to each other and that this was a good arrangement because we can signal each other and still concentrate. Mrs Gerstner didn’t want the girl (the one with the fool proof plan) to be so close to her friend but couldn’t find a spot where she’d be okay. She then had to move another girl (the most ‘popular’ to be accurate) next to me. This was also Not cool :|. It was okay I was still close enough to Tamlin to be okay. Mrs Gerstner was happy, the girl (one with the plan) was in the right spot, ‘popular’ girl was lucky enough to be next to me (kidding) and I was going to last. That’s until she came and told me she’s left handed so she needed to be on the other side (MY side) so I politely gave up my position and let it be. I was on the verge of losing my sanity after I cleared all my things into one small (very small) pile and she said

“I don’t really have much space do you think we could move these books?”

I took 7 deep breaths until I said why of course! I then made a good plan. I didn’t want any of this on the day that I left for America. I have now dealt with her for so long. She’s very nice and there isn’t any cattishness between us but boy it’s frustrating when you try to pick up your pencil and you get flashed from her unbelievably short skirt or when she won’t stop talking when we have to do work. UGH!
