Geek Rock

We drove to San Fran. But we stopped at this cutest little pinball machine place. We went in and we paid a little entrance fee but we got to play all of the awesome pinball machine! But then we had to go to the hotel and take back our car. Then would we would go to China Town I we had time. Well this went a little wrong when we went there and there was no hotel. We kind of thought that because we had only booked online. We then ended up at this really cute Motel. It has a hot tub which I have not used. Its really nice. We asked to keep the car until we leave or Vegas on Thursday. It is costing more but its quite a bit better to travel around the awesome city of San Fran.

We stayed with Philip and Sandra again. That morning we had to leave early because we had a 6½ hour drive. So that’s what we did. We left early and took the really long drive. The problem for me was it was like Champman’s Peek on steroids. It was beautiful but it was turn after turn. Mom said I could sit in the front. Thank goodness! We then drove on and stopped at this over priced little bar thing with the most beautiful view. We had their cheapest drinks and carried on.

We got to Big Sur Camp Ground at 6ish and started to set up our camp. Jessica and I being Girl Guides we were able to put u our tent quickly except for the need for sheer man power. But that was not really a problem. Then we had the luxury of mattresses which self inflated which would have been a good tip before we started loosing half our lungs trying to blow up the stupid thing. We also had the most comfortable, warm and snuggly. Jessica and I were warm until Jessica was wussie. She had to pee at 5.Then we were woken up at 8 to pack up. We then left for San Francisco.

My highlights of the camp. Beautiful like you wouldn’t believe! I have a little plastic basket ball that I was playing with + our campsite was next to a river (very very pretty)= Disaster= Jessica and I nearly falling in the water. (I think you can fill in the dots).

OMG! I felt famous! We spent almost our whole time trying to find Johnny Depp’s star. We passed two very good look a-likes on the way. Although all those dressed up people reminded me of clowns and I freaked out. I don’t know how I’ll manage Disney Land. Anyway we also saw Darth Vader (who annoyed the heck out of me when he took off his helmet seriously dude not cool) with a trooper, cat woman, wonder woman, bat woman, some blonde woman that looked like Barbie, a freakishly good look a-like of Michael Jackson, Buzz Lightyear and a few other characters. Finally we found his star and we put our gnome Dobby (I really don’t think the name is very appropriate) we put him there and we just took photos. We saw a few other people that were exciting Bugs Bunny, Pierce Brosnan, Walt Disney and Elton John. We then ate some quite healthy tacos. And Jessica broke their ice machine. Everything is self service and you get the cups and then you go to the soda thinngy majig and put whatever with some ice. What does Jessica manage to do? Of course kill the damn thing. We couldn’t stop the ice from coming. It was crazy there was an insane amount of ice and the people working there couldn’t even stop it. How come Jessica can do this even in another continent? Then this is my high light. Madam Tusauds Wax Works. That was so funky! And I really really hate to say it but it was actually better than the English one! I took photos with almost everyone. I took photos with random wax works that I didn’t even know. Of course in character every time. It was so cool I even got a picture with Selena Gomaz for Tamlin. Tamlin’s instructions were get me anything but if you meet anyone famous I want their autograph. Sorry Tamlin I think this is as close to anyone famous as I’m ever going to get. Oh and Sandra and Philip they’ve met the guy who played Sirious Black in Harry Potter. That’s it. I also got a picture with lady gaga, johnny depp, people from star trek, glee, Madonna. I played on a replica of Elton John’s piano. I played Struttin’ along which Jessica called average. Swak. We also saw Pierce Brosnan, Brad Pit and Angelina Jolea, Simon Cowl, JayLo, Snoop Dog (not that we cared for him), Beyonce, Marilyn Manro, President Obama, Peaches, Rocky and Michael Jackson.

L.A. BABY!

This is the most fun I’ve had in America. Ya I know it’s only day 3 but come on! We’re staying with some friends of my mom and Wouter. Philip and Sandra. They are so cool. Sandra is really fun. We’ve been swimming the whole day. MY FAVOURITE TYPE OF HOLIDAY!!! Tomorrow we’re going to Hollywood. IN YOUR FACES!!! I’ll tell you about that once I’m there and feeling famous…

The giraffes are also one of my favourites. But I’ve always liked giraffes. They are just the most brilliant creatures in the zoo.

All of the wild cats are beautiful but the one I’ll tell you about is the lion because it’s the nicest big cat photo.

ercats all burrowing and then we got to the African meercats and they were all chilaxed about everything. This is one of the african mercats. 

Hippos. The cutest thing. We got there and there was this mum and the little baby playing and mom just gets to the window and they come bounding tothe windo and the only thing between  mom and the hippos were the glass. 

Those were not even a little %age of the zoos animals.

Inventory

Average, normal things that a tourist would do.

I’ve; eaten, drunk, slept, walked, breathed, showered, eaten a sub(YUMMY!), got lost, sent a message, blogged, thought (maybe that one should be with the unusual items), seen an awesome museums on air and natural science, been to a wall mart, begged to know the time, been shouted at, fought, swam, Mac Donald’s (don’t judge me! It tastes different and been to and picnics in the World famous surfers beach in California which wasn’t that great actually.

Unusual things that are just plain weird.

I’ve; Walked across 6 hotel rooms with only a towel on*, got shampoo in my eyes, walked into a Mac Donald’s with only my swimming costume on bare footed and totally missed the No Bare Feet sign and paid 15$ for a really bad beach.

*Jessica and I were fighting a she shot gunned the shower so I decided that I will go to mom’s hotel room. I watched my hair and everything then walked back to our room (mom no.9 us room no.3) she then proceeded to not let me in.

This post is about the museums we went to. The first one was the Natural Museum.  It was really cool and quite unusul because it was very interactive. Like when they were explaning about how the jaw worked there was a nosel that you coould move the jaw with. Dad and Miranda would have absoultly loved it! But dad wouldn’t love it as much as the Air And Space Museum. I didn’t care for the air stuff but damn the space things were interesting. They had the actual Apollo 9 shuttle. not the replica the real deal!!!! How exciting is that? I was phyced but we’d been walking everywhere including the  San Diego Zoo so wwe were a little anxious to get home. And it was very hot outside. So we stopped  to have hawian shaved ice (a snow cone) on mine I had blue candy floss and bannana with mango aswel! Itwas actual really nice! Jessica had one that when she spilled it on her leg (4 times) it  looked like blood. We went home and swam and I skiped supper and went to bed at 7

Omg this is so wrong. I’m in Californiaandit’s cloudy. WTF?!?! Anyway I’ve been to a Mini Mart I’ve had American Coke,  Grilled Cheese  (which is only cheese on a sadwhich grilled. Ew!) I’ve slept (not well) and I’ve alost swam. It’s so awesome here except driving on the wrong side of the road will take alot of getting used to. I’m about to go visit San Diego Zoo and then a few museums. This is our only full day in sa Deigo so I’m packing every single fun thinginto today. Next stop will be Los Angeles butmy next blog will be about San Deigo Zoo!!!!

Amsterdam Baby!

I’m going to tell you about this flight.

For dad: Sorry we couldn’t get the flight  reg. Or anything not pleased with the flight attendent who said “Of course you will get the info!

It is so much nicer! It had air conditioning! YAY! I get very hot so yes I much prefer this flight. The food is YUMMY! I had the Veg Lasagna and Jessica had the really yummy chicken and mash both really awesome! Dessert being 2 chocolate biscuits. Yummy!

Interesting people: next tome across the isle is a vegetarian music writer. Really interesting! He had a bulky version of Jessica’s ipod. And some group of wannabe soccer people. All with various piercing. Quite interesting. Just glad they didn’t sit next to us.

The one problem I found was when I went to sleep I was awoken with a baby crying. I was of course grumpy and angry but I soon came to my senses. The problem was that it was the same every time. Deep breath excruciatingly loud scream until out of breath cry and repeat. It was very very frustrating it was like someone taking a knife and rubbing on the exact same spot on my foot (which happened to be my half dream half reality thing). She/ he is still screaming and so while I write this I have music blaring I my ears because I just can’t take it!.

I am very tired and still have another flight. This flight is 8 hours but we get to Miniapples only 2 hours after we left scipol.

We’re in America!!! We may still only be in Miniapples… that has become my name for Minneapolis. I. Can’t. Wait. To. Be. At. The. Hotel. Room.

Seriously I need to move around. Okay bye I’m going to walk around Minneapolis Airport…
